HLTH 2021 will require all attendees, exhibitors and HLTH staff to provide proof they are fully VACCINATED.
HLTH will be implementing a series of protocols and onsite precautions in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. HLTH is working in accordance with the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and local public health officials to ensure the safety of all attendees. As new developments arise over the coming months, the approach will continue to adapt and we will keep the community informed of any changes.
Onsite Safety Protocols
Everyone who plans to join us in person at HLTH 2021 must provide proof that they are fully vaccinated. For the purpose of attending HLTH 2021, a person is fully vaccinated:
2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
For international attendees, this guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (i.e., AstraZeneca/Oxford, Covishield, Sinopharm, and Sinovac) - 2 weeks after final dose. The full list of vaccines with final WHO EUL/PQ evaluation status is available here.
Attendees will be able to submit proof of vaccination through the CLEAR Health Pass, a free mobile experience on the CLEAR app. This will be the only option to show proof of vaccination at HLTH 2021.
Attendees will fill out a brief health questionnaire in the CLEAR app before showing proof of vaccination onsite.
Masks will be required at HLTH 2021, in accordance with the new mask mandate for all indoor public spaces in Boston, starting August 27. We will monitor the city and state guidelines on the mask mandate and update as we get closer to the event.
HLTH will offer onsite testing locations for optional testing at any time throughout the event.
At this time, we are not requiring that attendees must have a booster shot to attend.
HLTH will apply practical efforts to ensure attendees and staff comply with local health officials and the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center’s recommendations. This may include: symptom tracking (including daily temperature checks), contact tracing, use of personal protection equipment, or other comparable measures.
By registering to attend HLTH as an in-person attendee, you are consenting you will comply with any protocols that are made by HLTH, the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, and/or local health officials. Requirements for onsite attendance will be communicated before the start of the conference.
