When Krista Drobac first started thinking about home-based health care, she assumed that the biggest barriers to adoption would be cultural. But she quickly learned that policy was the problem. And then came COVID-19. Regulations were loosened, and we were allowed to experiment with caring for patients at home. So, how do we convince policymakers to preserve the advances in home-based care made during the pandemic and change the rules for good? Krista serves as Partner at Sirona Strategies, Executive Director of the Alliance for Connected Care and Founder of <a href="https://movinghealthhome.org/" target="_blank">Moving Health Home</a>, a coalition working to change policy to enable the home to be a clinical site of care.
