StartUp Health is on a 25-year mission to collaborate with Health Transformers® to improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in the world. StartUp Health believes that something magical happens when you bring together coachable entrepreneurs and partners from around the world who have the mindset to achieve health moonshots. Since 2011, StartUp Health has been investing in a global army of entrepreneurs -- called Health Transformers® -- to solve Health Moonshots such as: Access to Care, Cost to Zero, Cure Disease, End to Cancer, End Addiction, Women’s Health, Children’s Health, Nutrition &amp; Fitness, Brain Health, Mental Health &amp; Happiness and Longevity. StartUp Health’s premier event is The StartUp Health Festival, an annual one-of-a-kind two-day experience exclusively for Healthcare Transformers, top healthcare leaders, Fortune 500 C-suite and the world’s leading investors.  Set up in a pop-up space, it is a unique experience that offers C-level healthcare leaders direct access to meet the founders creating the latest digital health innovations, insights from industry experts, and a unique environment for networking opportunities and relationship building.

NHIT Health Equity Breakfast

The National Health IT Collaborative for the Underserved, Inc. (NHIT®), was established in 2008 with a mission to engage underserved populations in the development and use of health information technology (HIT) as a means to support and sustain health equity and economic viability based on NHIT’s five pillars: Workforce, Innovation, Policy, Research, and Community.  They represent national, regional, and local organizations focused on addressing health disparities through the use of new and innovative technologies and peripheral mobile devices.

For generations, we’ve witnessed a widening gap in health outcomes along racial and socioeconomic lines. Communities are looking to health systems for solutions, but nearly 80 percent of our health is influenced by factors outside clinic walls. Called the social determinants of health, these include housing stability, food access, community support, and other socioeconomic factors.Health systems, along with other service providers and stakeholders, must address these social determinants where people live and work in order to close the health and wellness gap. Collaboration and effective partnerships are critical in establishing and maintaining equitable experiences for all patients, clinicians, and staff alike.Join this esteemed panel to learn how innovations are changing access, delivery, and coordination of care. During this interactive session you will:<ul><li>Hear how two digital health providers use technology to deliver personalized, high-quality care experiences</li><li>Learn more about trends in virtual care and how providers are meeting the increasing demand for digital experiences</li><li>See how technology enables touchless, connected patient journeys across the care continuum</li></ul>
