HiLabs’ $39M Series B: AI Engine’s Rapid Advancements in Cleaning Dirty Data 

Amit Garg, CEO and co-founder of HiLabs, discusses the next wave of AI technology and the advancements of HiLabs’ AI engine in cleaning dirty data. After nearly nine years of development, the engine has been trained to mimic subject matter experts at scale, and has seen rapid success in areas such as cleaning provider directories. 

Using HiLabs’ AI engine, a national plan nearly doubled its directory accuracy, achieving an accuracy score of close to 95%. HiLabs’ AI algorithms were also utilized in a widely cited study published in JAMA which discovered 81% of provider records nationally had inconsistences. The company now works with four out of the ten largest health plans and regional plans across the US. 

Amit discusses new advancements in AI technology, including generative AI with reasoning. The company announced a $39M Series B round of funding which will allow them to accelerate their engine's capabilities in generative AI, provider data, EMR data, and value-based care.
