For $60/month, each Sesh member has access to unlimited therapist-led group support sessions that are otherwise be unaffordable or unattainable. The Sesh app was a 2021 Webby Award Honoree.

When a person suffers a stroke or traumatic brain injury, delays of even a few hours to proper treatment can mean the difference between recovery and permanent disability or death. Time is brain. The need to eliminate these costly delays is what led a team of physicians who specialize in emergency medicine, neurology and neurocritical care to create the technology behind Sense Neuro Diagnostics.  

Different types of stroke and traumatic brain injury require different types of immediate treatment.  First responders currently have no tools to diagnose stroke subtype and often simply transport a patient to the nearest hospital, which may not be equipped to provide the critical care a patient needs.  In the hospital ICU, medical staff have no tools to monitor brain injury objectively and continuously in the hospital, in real time, in between CT scans, instead relying on a checklist of observations and patient questions. which can leave a bleed undetected for hours.
Sense is developing technology to enable continuous, real-time brain injury monitoring in the hospital ICU, as well as rapid detection of traumatic brain injury and important stroke subtypes in a field environment. Our non-invasive brain scanners fit on a patient’s head like a cap, completing a scan of the patient’s brain in 2.5 seconds.  Our monitoring device is in a pivotal trial at multiple US hospital sites.  Following a successful first-in-human pilot study with 99% accuracy, our triage technology is expected to begin a pivotal trial in early 2022.  Sense has been awarded a $2.43M Department of Defense contract to develop a device for military use in detecting and monitoring traumatic brain injury, a signature war wound, in a field environment.
