COVID-19 Information

What health & safety precautions are in place for HLTH 2021?

HLTH will be implementing a series of protocols and onsite precautions in light of the COVID-19 pandemic which are in accordance with the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and local public health officials to ensure the safety of all attendees. As new developments arise over the coming months, the approach will continue to adapt and we will keep our community informed. For details, visit our Health & Safety page.

Is HLTH requiring in-person attendees to be vaccinated?

Yes. The HLTH team remains unequivocally devoted to safeguarding our staff, attendees and the local community hosting HLTH. We cannot and will not ignore the science: vaccinated individuals are the most unlikely demographic to catch or transmit COVID. Those who remain unvaccinated, are the most at risk and also pose a significant risk to others.

For these reasons and, having carefully considered all viable options, we have made the decision to require everyone who plans to join us in person at HLTH 2021 to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated.

Does this requirement extend to sponsors and/or event staff and non-staff who will be servicing the event?

Yes. The requirement is for all attendees, sponsors and exhibitors and HLTH staff.

Will HLTH require masks and social distancing at the event?

It is our hope that masking and social distancing can become personal decisions during HLTH 2021 - including at evening networking events. More info to come with guidance from local and state guidelines and the CDC.

Why did HLTH decide to use CLEAR Health Pass to monitor adherence to this requirement?

CLEAR's Health Pass is a free mobile experience on the CLEAR app, allowing people to submit proof of vaccination.

Will HLTH accept any other forms of verification for vaccination; i.e. vaccination card?

No. We are only accepting a vaccination status from the CLEAR Health Pass for HLTH 2021.

Will my information be private and secure on the CLEAR Health Pass?

Yes, always. With CLEAR, individuals remain in control of their information at all times. HLTH only receives confirmation that each registrant has satisfied the requirements for access with a red or green Health Pass.  CLEAR will never share an individual’s private health details. To learn more click here.

How will HLTH accommodate those who cannot be vaccinated due to religious or health reasons?

For this year's event, we are requiring people to show a proof of vaccination. Others will have the ability to purchase a digital ticket to access the event virtually.
